Downers Grove Carry-Out and Delivery Store Marks Lou Malnati’s 32nd Pizzeria

Lou Malnati’s opens the doors to its 32nd pizzeria Friday, February 25, 2011 in Downers Grove, IL. Located at 440 W. 75th Street, this pizzeria will offer carryout, delivery, and catering service of Lou Malnati's famous Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, and a wide variety of other menu items including pasta, salads, and sandwiches.
Hours of operation will be Monday-Thursday from 4:00-10:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am-11pm, and Sunday from 11:00am-9:00pm. The store can be contacted by calling 630-241-2400 or further information can be found at www.loumalnatis.com.
The 31st Lou Malnati’s location opened in Bolingbrook in the fall of 2010. The carry-out and delivery store was met with great success, leading the Malnati family to pursue expansion even further into the southwest suburban area. The new Downers Grove pizzeria is located northeast of the Bolingbrook store, and east of the nearest full service restaurant in the area located in downtown Naperville. The new store will create an expanded delivery zone over the entire region and reduce gaps in the delivery zones between the three southwestern suburban stores.
“We hope to continue to expand into the south and southwest suburbs, and establish a presence in the area as the premier pizzeria,” says owner Marc Malnati.
Currently there are 11 full service restaurants and 21 carry-out and delivery Malnati pizzerias across the Chicago land area. A twelfth restaurant is set to open in the summer of 2011 in downtown Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. The Gold Coast restaurant will be the company’s new flagship location and have the largest seating capacity of all the Malnati restaurants to date.
