We are looking for a detail oriented professional, with experience in multi-unit, multi-department payroll to join our team. This position requires the ability to analyze, prepare and input payroll data for over 1,800 employees. Very strong organizational skills and IT proficiency is required for this position.
The position is within our HR department which consists of 5 dedicated members. Our team works together, is passionate about caring for our colleagues, and most importantly likes to have fun. We are looking for someone who is personable, collaborative and eager to learn.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Use automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
•Balance payroll and compile paychecks for distribution.
•Resolve payment errors promptly.
•Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
•Assist in the implementation of an HRIS and web based payroll and benefits system to take our growing company to the next level.
•Experience in accounting and payroll.
•Bilingual in Spanish a plus
•Experience in restaurant payroll desired but not required.
•Ability to meet deadlines, we run a biweekly payroll schedule all year round.
•Deadline oriented and organized.
•Ability to work weekends, holidays and extra hours as needed to meet payroll deadlines.
