Location: Chicago - South Loop
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Greet, welcome and seat customers and answer questions in a friendly, outgoing, warm and welcoming manner.
•Assist in determining flow of the restaurant and seating. Watch seating for effective service. Accurately estimate guests’ wait times.
•Accommodate any special needs of our guests, for example, booster chairs, highchairs, disabilities.
•Seat customers, cross-sell, and note specials of the day.
•Take drink orders, bus tables and provide assistance to our dining room servers when necessary.
•Maintain composure while under stress.
•Any other responsibilities as may be assigned.
•Exemplary hospitality skills (friendly, courteous, anticipate the needs of our customers and exceed them).
•Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
•Ability to take orders and process information and goods through computer system and register system.
•Reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work varied hours/days including holidays. Ability to work extra days and hours when circumstances require.
