In honor of our anniversary, we’ve compiled a complete history of Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria by decade, from opening day 45 years ago, all the way to present day! You may think you know all there is to know about us, but we’ve included quite a few new tidbits. Here’s a sample of what you’ll find:
We filled a Zipcar with, you guessed it, 314 slices of deep dish pizza. That pizza is headed to local Chicago shelter and soup kitchen, Franciscan Outreach, where they will enjoy the 5,918.761 in2* of delicious Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza!
Construction on our first out-of-state pizzeria in Phoenix, Arizona has been underway for a few months, and with everything running smoothly, we’re on schedule for a May opening.
