And we gotta say, they couldn’t have picked a better city than Chicago for their seventh office. (Ok, so we might be slightly biased!) To help welcome them to the neighborhood, we delivered some extra special celebratory pizzas to their new digs. Check them out, we think they’re really something special!
On Tuesday, February 17th, a ribbon cutting ceremony marked the official opening of Lou Malnati’s in Oswego. Attendees included Mayor Brian LeClercq and State Rep. Keith Wheeler (pictured below). Guests enjoyed deep dish pizza and the opportunity to meet Marc and Jeanne Malnati.
The design of the new carryout, located at 2848 U.S. 34, is inspired by Oswego’s past as a drag racing town between the 50s and 70s. According to Interior Designer Catrina Won, the vintage steering wheels, garage signs, and photography displayed are a tribute to the heritage and historic character of the town in a classic, subtle way. What I’ve learned in the almost five years that I have been working here is that procedures and practical training only take an employee so far. Personal growth and emotional competence are equally important key factors for progress.
