So when a customer called our Lincoln Square/North Center pizzeria and wanted a few pizzas delivered literally across the street, you would think we would just, you know, walk it over. Well, Marc Malnati decided to try a few more… interesting techniques. Watch the video to see what happened!
Matthew LaChappelle is a hard-working team member at our Evanston pizzeria. His story was featured in a blog post on JJ’s List, a website that connects businesses and people with disabilities. Matthew works hard and doesn’t let his disability hold him back. In the article, when talking about his job, Matthew says, “I like vacation but I love to work the most,” and “I think work is a way to self-advocate because it shows that you are a great person and you can do the work.”

And that means, every year, we send a team from Lou Malnati’s to California to meet with the growers and inspect the tomatoes to ensure we are picking only the best. Marc Malnati recently visited WCIU’s You & Me This Morning to talk about this process. Check out the segment below for an exclusive behind the scenes look!
We’ll miss you, Jon… pizza rants and all. Take a look back at Marc Malnati’s trip to The Daily Show and relive the famous New York and Chicago pizza truce!
Admit it, Jon. You’re leaving The Daily Show so you can move to Chicago to forever indulge in your favorite deep dish pizza.
There’s a first time for everything, but we know you will never forget your first bite of Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza. BuzzFeed Video recently found a few Californians who had never tried Chicago deep dish pizza (we know, it’s hard to believe!). They got a taste of our deep dish, and let’s just say their reactions were very… interesting. Watch the video below!
With the help of many volunteers, we set up shop in the middle of the track and served up over 1,800 slices of our famous deep dish as part of the Season Ticket Holder Trackside Party.
We are proud to support this team as they raise awareness for pediatric cancer and we’re also proud to join them in the fight through the Lou Malnati’s Cancer Research Fund. If you would like to join us in the fight against pediatric cancer, you can donate to the 45th Annual Lou Malnati’s Cancer Research Benefit at www.lmcb.org.
