A 300-seat, full service Lou Malnati's restaurant opened Wednesday, August 29th in Lakewood, serving the northwest suburban residents of Crystal Lake, Huntley, Algonquin and Lake-in-the-Hills. This new restaurant is located at 8515 Redtail Drive in Lakewood Commons, at the corner of Redtail Drive and Ackman Road, Lakewood. And, a new City carry-out and delivery location opened serving the Bucktown and Wicker Park neighborhoods. The new store is located at 1520 N. Damen Avenue, just south of North Avenue, Chicago. Call the new pizzeria at 773-395-2400. The carry out and delivery hours for this location currently are: Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 9 pm.

Tastes of Chicago by Lou Malnati's will ship our Crustless Pizza*. Lou Malnati's Employees Follow Company's Tradition of Community Giving
 In response to Hurricane Katrina, employees of Lou Malnati's contributed more than $8,000 to relief efforts. In addition, the company matched that amount, and contributed an additional $5,200, for a total donation to the Red Cross of more than $21,000.
This is not the first time Lou Malnati's employees have generously made donations to people in need. Earlier this year employees donated more than $5,000 to aide the Tsunami victims in Southeast Asia, and in 2001 employees donated more
than $10,000 to the American Red Cross to the relief efforts of 9-11. In both cases the company matched employee donations dollar for dollar.
Lou Malnati's has a long tradition of giving to the community. Each year the company hosts a cancer benefit to raise money for cancer research programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In the past 10 years more than $1.1
million has been raised through this event, which is in its 35th year. In addition, more than $50,000 in food donations is made each year to community events and non-profit organizations to support various fundraisers.
