JOB SUMMARY: Develop and execute on employee grassroots recruiting efforts, interviewing, hiring, and metrics to determine each functions success criteria. This position will have a strong link to Kitchen Operations and will be required to travel throughout all store locations and establish strong relationships with managers and team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting:
- Coordinate and Implement store level recruiting Initiatives across department with an emphasis on kitchen recruiting.
- Establish grassroots recruiting efforts; partner with stores to learn new ways to recruit in communities
- Work with the recruiting team as well as the kitchen operations team to hire and onboard great people.
- Utilize the Internet for recruitment, including social media and networking sites while partnering with our Social Media Manager to meet Company standards.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive staff recruiting.
- Work with managers and then lead the creation of a recruiting plan for each open staff position.
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of hiring.
- Create and maintain metrics to assess the effectiveness of each program.
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
Interviewing and Hiring:
- Full execution of the recruitment process (including job posting, phone interviewing, in person interviewing, regular communication with candidates and managers)
- Work with store managers and kitchen supervisors and then lead the creation of an interviewing plan for each open staff position with emphasis on kitchen
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of hiring plans.
- Assist in interviewing and selecting store candidates.
- Train managers on interviewing and hiring of staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interviewing and coaching skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative.
- Ability to communicate with our stores effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
- Creative. Ability to bring in new ideas.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel to all Lou Malnati's locations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions and use math.
