Thousands of fans gathered in Chicago’s Grant Park this morning to honor and celebrate the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup for the second time in four years.
The celebration kicked off with a parade that started at the Madhouse on Madison, the United Center. Blackhawks players climbed aboard double-decker buses and rode their way through the streets of Chicago to Grant Park where thousands of fans greeted the team with cheers and applause.
We hope the Hawks relish in their victory and take some time to rest before getting back down to business. As Patrick Sharp said at the rally, “What do you say we get back here and do it again next year?”
