The NFL draft is taking over Grant Park Thursday, April 28th through Saturday, April 30th, so here’s your chance to get in on the action once again!

NFL Selection SquareThe NFL has set up a massive Draft Town, filled with fun, mostly free activities. This year’s setup is even bigger than last year’s, measuring up to the size of about 20 football fields! Although “Selection Square,” where the draft action actually happens, requires a ticket, you can still freely roam around Draft Town at no cost to you. Some of the highlights include:

  • “1st Round Draft Wheel,” a ferris wheel that will give you a bird’s eye view of Draft Town and the city
  • You’ll also be able to get free autographs from some former NFL greats, including Chicago Bear Dick Butkus
  • There’s an entire section devoted to activities for kids, so be sure to check out the NFL Play 60 Zone for things like the 40 yeard dash, vertical jump, field goal kicking, and more!
  • Sportscenter will be broadcasting live from Draft Town 6-7pm on Thursday, April 28th

Of course, there are many more things to do in Draft Town, so check out a complete schedule of activities here, and a map of Draft Town here.

If you’re headed to Draft Town, you’ll undoubtedly work up an appetite taking in all the sights. Remember, our South Loop pizzeria is located less than a mile from Grant Park, so your deep dish fix is just a short walk away!
