This new pizzeria will be located at 100 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 152 in the Uptown Plaza Shopping Center in Phoenix. Although renovations are just beginning, we’re thrilled to bring our legendary Chicago-style deep dish pizza to Arizona.

If you guys are doing a grand opening, We would love to be invited.
Thanks,
George Minzer
Lucky Arizonans! I wish you would open a restaurant in the Kenosha area because driving to Libertyville or Lake Forest and back results in a cool and not as crispy pizza.
OMG I’M GETTING IN LINE TODAY, CAN I PRE ORDER?
I am so excited to a point. I just wish you were doing to be closer to me in Tempe or Chandler!
DENVER! COLORADO! PLEASE?
I am so glad you guys will be in central phoenix so everyone can try your pizza….I would also love to be invited to the grand opening, if you are….. I will be your number one fan…… Thanks Teresa Ferrara
Glad to hear the excitement! Teresa and George, we’re still planning the opening festivities, but stay tuned for more information!
I’m SO excited! I’m a Chicago native who move to Arizona 8 years ago. Every time I go back to visit my friends, Lou’s is the first stop for food. It’s been my favorite pizza since I was young, and I can’t wait to have it close to my home! Now all of my friends here who aren’t from Chicago can experience the worlds best pizza!!
Whenever my daughter comes home to visit here in Hoffman Estates, she always has to go to Lou Malnati’s. She’s going to be so happy.
Looking forward to having you in Phoenix!!! Please keep your new phoenix family informed so we can welcome you appropriately! 🙂
I moved from Elgin in 1974, to Tucson . I will be making the 2 hour drive to Phx for this!
Tampa Florida NEXT!!! Portillos is coming here, now you have to. A lot of Chicagoans here!
Welcome to Chicago West! Can’t wait! Hopefully #2 will be in the East Valley! But on the bright side, I can order my pizza when I leave my house and it will be hot and ready when I get there. Well worth the 40 minute drive from Chandler! Will you be open when the Hawks are on town in February? Please add me if you have a grand opening gathering.
Hey Ron! We won’t be open in February, we’ll still be cheering on the Hawks from Chicago, but look out for us in May 2016! We’ll be sure to announce any information we have about our opening celebrations as soon as it’s available.
We’ll have a contingency from the Tucson area that will go get the pizzas once a month. We can’t wait!!!
Not far enough west, you got to come to Southern California
Thank you!! Right by our house!! Please put in a bike rack!
your new phoenix location will be Blackhawks central!
I’ve been craving Lou Malnati’s for years!! I know you’ll have great success here, Once you decide to expand, please consider Mesa AZ as your next opening!!!
Hopefully you can provide bus parking because we have 5 transplanted Chicago families who plan to rent a party bus for our first trip.
Very Cool, only a few blocks from work!!! Welcome to Phoenix!!! Go Cubs!!!
Can you stop in central Texas on your way?
I will throw in my 2 cents. Come on down to Louisville, KY ! Although picking up 20+ frozen pizzas when I go back to Chicago is working right now. Would love the fresh taste of Lou’s!
Houston next please!
New location is in snob central. Terrible traffic. I guess the plan is to see how it catches on before opening the Wrigleyville West location by Sloan Park.
We had a Lou’s just down the street from us before moving to AZ. My boys have sent your delivery pizzas as gifts. We are looking forward to having your pizzas hot from the oven in the valley. WELCOME TO PHX. Cannot wait to find out more about your grand opening.
Granbury TEXAS…..I have the place!!!
\
Mesa?
Oh super! Now please come to south florida..we cant get any good pizza here. I used to work at the Lou’s in Schaumburg & miss the pizza SO much.
Please…Please…Please consider Scottsdale for your next Arizona location!! However, I will make the 45 minute drive to the Phoenix location. It will be well worth it!
Come to Denver, CO!
Please open one in Seattle/Tacoma area!!!
@Louise, there is a Lou Malnati’s near Gurnee on Route 45 just north of Washington, that’s closer than Libertyville or Lake Forest, I would think!
Would love to see one closer to Rockford! 🙂
omg can’t wait! Even my heart doc, was excited, had to have some fedx’d out here for him. We are loving it and will be in line for great buttercrust PIZZA!!!!!! Chandler AZ.
I grew up with Lou Malnati’s pizza and would love to be there for any grand opening celebrations.
Please advise.
YEA!!!!! I just moved there and am dying for Lou Malnati’s pizza! Thanks!!!!!!
Please come to Austin Texas next!
Now that you’ve expanding out of state, may I put in a request for the Green Bay, Appleton area too?! Live you guys and always stop in when I’m down there.
I grew up with Lou Malnati’s pizza, go there every time I’m in Chi Town, order the frozen pizza’s on line and can’t wait to have fresh Lou Malnati’s pizza in Phoenix which is my second home (Chi Town will always be my first home). I too would love to be there for any Grand Opening celebrations yo may be having along with all the other crazy transplants.
Yeah! Very excited! Hope that you open another location in the east valley right away! Chandler is a bit far especially for how often I want to go there. Thank goodness I just ordered the latest deal online, buy 6 get 1 free. That “might” tide me over for a while lol. I still go to the BG, IL location every time I go home too. Love you guys! Welcome to AZ
Don’t forget us West Valley peeps! Surprise or Goodyear would be a good location.
Please we miss you just moved from Illinois to boynton beach fl know place down here to eat
Scottsdale – PLEASE!!!
Twenty years ago I met Bob Collins and his wife at a Phoenix car dealership. Our encounter was cut short because they were anticipating FedEx delivering Malnati’s for their dinner that evening. Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe will be thrilled to have Lou Malnati’s in town.
Hope you bring plenty of Illinois water to make your crust!
We like your thinking, Coyote Bob! Our Chicago water is a huge component in making our pizza taste as good as it does. We’re currently working with companies in Arizona to replicate the pH of Chicago water so the taste is just right.
Born and raised about 2 miles from your Lincolnwood location. So excited about your Phoenix opening! I, too, would be thrilled with an east valley location when you’re ready to expand! Looking for a grand opening invitation as well!
FANTASTIC! Lived near the Buffalo Grove location and will be in line for your grand opening here in Phoenix – Land of the Sun. Can’t wait!
Please, please come to Atlanta! There are plenty of Chicago transplants here. You would do well, and we wouldn’t have to order them sent. ( we have 4 in the freezer now)
I am doing the happy happy dance, it is about time that you all come on down!!!! Now we need you to open a 2nd location in Santan Village in Gilbert. There is no pizza like yours in this state!!!!!
Marc I do expect to get a invite for the Phoenix opening since we go back a long time . I hope you & the family will be out here for few days . Looking forward to seeing you soon . If you come out here couple times before opening please get s hold of me Maybe we could to dinner . Phil Katz Katman89
I smell a little competition for Pizzeria Bianco…
You can put a Lou’s in Arizona, but not Rogers Park?! Please come to Loyola.
I just gave your name to my eye doctor when we were talking about restaurants and she said she can’t find a great deep dish in Phoenix, so I told her to get it shipped! I am sending her this link now, she will be beyond thrilled. With your new residence on “Restaurant Row”, you are only minutes away from my home and her practice. Super excited for your grand opening, May cannot get here soon enough!
I am SO excited. I’ve been going to Lou’s when it was just Lincolnwood and Elk Grove. I moved to Phoenix 22 years and the first and last thing I do when in Chicago is go to Lou’s!!! I’m so excited you will be down the street from my work. I’ve already spread the news to my other Illinois turned Arizona peeps. EVERYONE is excited. It’s nice to know your Chicago people are coming. Bit of a relief. I’m sure you had a lot of volunteers. Good luck and keep it “Chicago” real.
Moved from Chicago to Flagstaff 4 years ago and there has not been ANY decent pizza to eat in this state until now! It will be worth the 150 mile one-way trip to eat REAL pizza. Will I be able to pre-order pizza about 3 hours ahead of time?
Oh, we are thrilled, even though it will be at least four hours away from our home in Las Vegas! This will be another reason to visit friends in Phoenix more often! Now, how about Vegas next Lou!? We don’t have anybody even close to your deep dish!
We had your awesome GF pizza this summer in Oak Park, can’t wait to have you here!
We need some Chicago pizza in Frisco Texas
Can’t wait! We’ve just moved to Scottsdale, AZ a year ago from Chicago’s North Lawndale area and we are in desperate need of some Chicago pizza! Love to read that you guys are paying attention to EVERY detail right down to the water! AMAZING!!!! God speed May 2016, God Speed! (It’s my hubby’s birthday month!)
Being from Chicago, you can imagine how we feel. It will be so nice to drive over and not have to order online anymore! We are thrilled and can’t wait!
Jeffrey Nov 3
How about us Lou lovers in Las Vegas ????????????
I am a transplanted Chicagoan. Grew up near The Lincolnwood location. My dad knew Lou very well and had tons of connections to the family. So glad you chose Phoenix for your first out of town location!!!! Thanks Dad and Lou!!! #divineintervention.
I am so excited. I can almost taste the pizza already.
Yay!!! I don’t have to fly back 5 frozen pizzas anymore !!! Should be a big success ! Lots of ppl from Chicago here …
Do your tomato’s come from Arizona? I don’t think so. Besides, everyone from Phoenix heads over to San Diego in the summer 😉 We need you guys to keep coming west to San Diego next.
In any event, congrats and best wishes for a roaring success!
CoNgrats Chris. Do I get senior discount
SO glad to have you are coming to Phoenix!
Thanks!!
I can’t believe it! I am so excited, I’ve always raved about Lou Malnati’s best pizza in the WORLD!!
Welcome to Arizona. You’ll have people waiting in line.
I’ve loved Lou’s since high school in the late 70’s. I live in Columbus Ohio and feel you would crush anything we have here that they call pizza. I’ve been suffering for over 20 years and only get my fix when I visit Chicago.
Glad you finally heeded my advice of more than 15 years ago. I reached out to you and asked you to come to Phoenix. Can’t wait! We’d love to be there for your soft opening….
YES!!!! Come on down!!
I just moved to Phoenix from Chicago, and I’m already missing you!
You have a lot of former Chicago residents in Tucson too!! Please come here soon!!!!!
This makes me so very happy!! I live in Tucson, and will gladly make the drive to Phoenix. I am so excited to finally be able to introduce my kids to Lou Malnati’s pizza! I have been talking to them about it for years. Looking forward to the grand opening details. Hope you will keep Tucson in mind for branching out. Thanks for coming to Arizona!
This Chicago person would LOVE it if you came to Florida. Preferably near Clearwater.
So close to California!!! Since moving here I miss some great Chicago Pizza. When we moved here in 2003, we went to BJ’s since they were Chicagostyle…ummm no not even close 🙁 SoCal would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have you!
Hoping you put a second location in Scottsdale! We heard you were coming to Arizona so we got all our friends so excited about eating “real” pizza but even after many requests and us being one of your first customer over 40 years ago, you put it over 40 minutes from us, very sad!!!!
Laughlin, Nevada, please! We have absolutely nothing here– 9 casinos, but no pizza!
We need GREAT pizza!!
This is fantastic!! Your new location will be a mile from my office, the same distance as you were from my childhood home in Lincolnwood!
Please come to Colorado next, I miss you more than my family!

We would love to see you in Louisville, KY! There many Chicago transplants here, and it would be unique in this area. Nobody does Chicago pizza like you guys!
St. Louis needs some Lou love. Please rescue us from crappy thin pizza.
We moved from Naperville to Scottsdale. Spoiled to have had 2 locations nearby in Naperville. Hope you do well in Phoenix and branch out to Scottsdale. Lots of us Chicagoans here. Would love to come to grand opening.
Come to Vegas!
WOW ! ! Very Excited ! I will feature your pizza to all the visitors I have coming to stay in my casita on http://www.airbnb. “The Casita at Quail Run”.
[…] Lou Malnati’s is Headed to Phoenix! […]
A Chicago transplant here, Scottsdale next 🙂
THANK YOU LOU’S YOU HAVE MADE THIS CHICAGO BOY IN ARIZONA VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!!!! and literally down the street from me, you couldn’t have picked a better spot!!!!!!!!!!!
I am thrilled you’re coming here. I live in Chandler, about 22 miles away, but it will be worth the drive. I grew up about a half mile from your Lincolnwood location and worked across the street at Minolta Corp. I remember when your restaurant was a Novaks (boy, now I’m dating myself!) thanks for coming here. I know you’ll be super successful.
I love your pizza. I do wish you would also consider the Southeast valley. I will make the drive.
How about Brandon, FL? Portillo’s is opening here in March. Lou’s would be a great compliment, and there’s lots of relocated Chicagoans here.
Please oh please come to Southern California next!!! 🙂
You made a fat girl sooooo happy! Now I have no reason to fly back to Chicago, I literally visited Chicago just to get your pizza fresh (frozen is good but just doesn’t taste quite the same). You opened a location in Lake in the Hills right behind my house a few months before I moved so I went from walking to Lou’s to having to fly to Lou’s. I can already taste the spinch pizza with butter crust!
I commute back and forth from AZ to IL. Just had Lou’s on Monday from your S. Elgin location. Can’t wait for your opening in Phoenix. I’ll would gladly like to come to your grand opening!
Welcome to Phoenix from Local Flavor Magazine!
I am looking forward to trying your Pizza and joining the Grand Opening festivities! See you this Spring!
Great pizza is always worth the drive! Julie W.
Fantastic! We moved here 40 years ago and have brought back Lou Malnatis every time we visit Chicago ever since. Or we have it shipped frozen through Taste of Chicago. But it’s not the same as having it fresh baked at the restaurant. Soooo exited you’re coming to Phoenix.
So glad you are coming to Phoenix! Anytime I get back home to Chicago, Lou Malnati’s is the first place I seek out to go eat at. Can’t wait until you are in Phoenix! Welcome!!
YAY!!! Can hardly wait. Have been in Mesa for 2 1/2 years. Was at the opening of the first restaurant your dad opened in Lincolnwood as well as parties honoring Gale Sayers. We would love to participate in the grand opening here. Brings back memories of socializing at the two near north restaurants and Su Casa (before the split) with your dad and on occasion, your mom. Also remember your dad’s favorite saying, “A toddy for the body.”
So glad your coming to Arizona. Would love to have one in Tuscon !
Why not St. Louis? We’re a pizza town and would absolutely love a Lou’s here! Close to Chicago, close to supply and take care of!
Can’t wait! I hope the Arrowhead area is in the plans……
Greatest news ever. My daughter lives in ill. she orders pizza’s and you guy’s ship them to me. I’m so happy you are coming here. Hope you will open in Scottsdale also. My best..
Now that you’ve gone west, how about heading south…to south Florida?? West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, or Delray Beach would be wonderful! I head for Lou’s as soon as I get off the plane in Chicago, but that’s not often enough. There are lots of former Chicagoans living down here and we need to show the New Yorkers what good pizza is!
Wow…REAL Chicago-Style Pizza…(came from HP) For 15 years I’ve avoided “so-called pizza” here, Now–I can hardly wait! Yay Lou’s!
All I can say is when you get here and be up and running you better be ready and have a big supply ready because once you open your place will make a gold mine here because they only have Rosati’s pizza Out of Chicago now you Lou Malnatis congratulations to you see you soon!!!!!!!
This former Glenview Illinois asks you to please come to Orlando Florida. PLEASE!!
I’m in Tempe and a Chicago transplant and let me tell you, you made my day!!! The pizza in Phoenix is just horrible and now that you are coming here, that is about to change. You just have to open Tempe, Scottsdale and anything next to my home… but don’t you worry – I will drive across the entire city if it means getting Lou Malnati’s Pizza.
For those of you few unfortunates who have never had this pizza before I encourage you strongly to just go when they open up and I promise you, you will be so very happy you did.
Next stop, Los Angeles – please!!!
Oh, you know how to make this Chicago transplant very happy. Only 4 blocks from my job. Yes!!!
I’m so excited, hope I can go there
My mouth is watering
When are you heading to the East Coast? DC needs you!
My wife and I had lunch on 19Nov15 at the West Randolph store in Chicago,I’ll. This was our first time to any of your establishments. Service was good and the Chicago classic deep dish pizza was not what we expected It was not that hot crust was OK as was the cheese but the sausage was extremely bland and the sauce tasted as though it had that tinny taste from sitting in an open can for several days in frig. I certainly hope your other establishments use better ingredients than this particular establishment. Chicago and surrounding suburbs have the best pizza in the country..
Hi Albert, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the quality of our Chicago Classic. We will be reaching out to you directly via the email address you provided with your comment to address this. Thanks again for providing your feedback.
Welcome to Phoenix! I have enjoyed this pizza since 1978 in Lincolnwood Il. 🙂
The BEST!
Thank you, Chris! We’re very excited to be heading to Phoenix. We’ll see you soon!
Bye Bye Pizzeria Bianco!!!!

Dean, Jill, & Cheryl – thanks for reaching out! We’re still finalizing our plans for any soft opening events, but we will communicate those through our email list once we’re ready to share. If you haven’t already, you can join here: http://www.loumalnatis.com/join-email-club
Thanks and we’ll see you all in May!
So we’re celebrating my husband’s 50th on April 24th and I see you’re opening in May! Is there any way you’ll be doing a soft opening or any way to get a pizza here over in Gilbert?
Finally, I can stop having my pizza shipped in by FEDEX and go straight to the source. This will probably make my wife happy.
Next one in Surprise all the sun cities are with in a 10 mi we go out and eat almost every night! DO IT!
Montreal, Canada please
Please add 5 or 6 more to the valley….after your first one you will want to be set up in all directions!
