The safety of our team and our customers remains our number one priority as we open dining rooms at all locations.
Here are just a few of the steps we’re taking to ensure everyone’s safety:
Social Distancing
Dining room capacity is reduced to allow for proper social distancing. Tables have been moved and removed, some booths have been blocked, and bar seating has been removed. Maximum table occupancy is 6 people.
Health Checks
We perform daily health checks as employees arrive for their shifts.
Cleanliness Standards
We are practicing enhanced cleaning protocols including frequently disinfecting all surfaces, proper and frequent hand washing, glove usage, and we are requiring masks for all employees.
Single-Use Items
Single-use paper menus will be provided to every guest. Shared condiments have been removed from all tables, instead, single-use packets of red pepper, parmesan, etc. can be provided upon request.
Limited Contact
Your server will ask if you would like your pizza and salad to be served, or if you prefer to do it yourself. After your meal, your server will ask if you would like your leftovers to be wrapped, or if you prefer to do it yourself.
Curbside pick-up and no-contact delivery will remain available for our customers.
We look forward to serving you and your family soon!
If you have additional questions about our efforts to safely serve our customers, please contact us.

Why has the pizza quality deteriorated since the lockdown? I have been ordering pizza from the LINCOLNWOOD location for over 20 years and have always been impressed by the consistent quality and happy young workers. Now I receive a thinner crust on the deep dish pizza Which has probably been Prebaked so the quality is lacking. Also inconsistent amounts of cheese and tomato. No one answers the phone. The lockdown should have made it easier to maintain quality, not more difficult, because you no longer have to deal with the dining room. What is going on? Someone is dropping the ball!!!
Hi Patrick, we’re so sorry you have been disappointed with your last few orders. Please look out for an email from us so we can address this.
Do you use latex gloves in your stores or vinyl?
Hi Valerie, we use nitrile gloves in our stores.
this is the second time I have ordered from your store in Cary, IL. First time crust was so hard in the stuffed pizza that we had to trim off. Tonight we ordered thin crust pizza and there was hardly any cheese on it and sausage was rubbery. I think your store should call the Naperville, IL store to learn how to properly prepare pizzas like they make!
Read Patrick’s comments above. Have also seen a huge decrease in quality over the past years. Have been a Malnati’s advocate for years, but the toppings have decreased along with the quality recently. Have spoken to some other Chicago friends who have also been eating Malnati’s for decades and they say the same. (In Ohio now and ordered 7 pizzas online and they painted on the toppings, went to one of the restaurants with a friend from out of town to introduce him to the best Chicago pizza the last time I was in Chicago and the same thing happened). Please don’t kill what was always my favorite pizza!
