At Malnati’s, employees are not just staff members, they are members of a family. I know what you’re thinking. “Every company says that.” However, what sets Lou Malnati’s apart from the rest is that this organization believes in their team members and they invest in their team members.
What I’ve learned in the almost five years that I have been working here is that procedures and practical training only take an employee so far. Personal growth and emotional competence are equally important key factors for progress. The rigorous training our managers go through doesn’t stop with the hands-on, strategic training – it goes even deeper.
Lou’s invests a great deal of time in to helping its employees identify their strengths and how to best leverage these strengths given their environment. During this process, weaknesses are also discovered and blind spots are brought to light. This has proven to be one of the most important steps in learning how much you can grow on a personal level. In the same way a family comes together to help guide and offer their support of a family member, Malnati’s provides its employees with the support and tools they need in order to grow.
At Malnati’s, opportunities to grow, both professionally and personally, are unlimited.
I am more motivated and happy knowing that I work for a company that cares not only about the pizza they serve to their customers, but also about the person that is serving that pizza. I know that I am a part of something great and I also know that it’s only onwards and upwards from here.
When Lou opened the first pizzeria in Lincolnwood, his priorities were simple: make the best pizza in town and hire great people. Those are still important principles today. If you are looking for a job, or know someone who is, make sure to check out our current openings – we would love to welcome you to our family.
