On Pi Day, Monday, March 14th, a Zipcar vehicle pulled up to our West Loop pizzeria, and we loaded it up with 314 slices of deep dish pizza!
The Zipcar headed to Franciscan Outreach, a local Chicago shelter and soup kitchen, to deliver the pizzas. Franciscan Outreach provides basic needs like food and shelter to hundreds of homeless men, women, and children. They also provide professional case managers who help get them back on their feet.
We were happy to partner with Zipcar to support this worthy cause!
