Founded by Alice Cooper, yes, that Alice Cooper, this faith-based organization is a creative sanctuary for troubled teens. Located in Phoenix, the Solid Rock Teen Center is a place where teens grow through music, arts, vocational programs, and fellowship in a safe environment during non-school hours. Their primary goal is, “to help meet spiritual, economical, physical and social needs of teenagers in our community.”
Wednesday night, the Solid Rock supporters came out in droves to get a taste of our legendary deep dish pizza, while supporting this great organization at the same time. Sounds like a win-win, doesn’t it?! “The Godfather of Shock Rock” himself, Alice Cooper, made an appearance at the event as well! Well… it was a cutout of him, but he was there in spirit!
Thank you to the supporters of Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock for making the night such a huge success!

We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the opening of our first out-of-state pizzeria than by supporting three charities who do great work in the Valley.
On Tuesday, May 10th, we hosted the first of three charity soft opening events at our new Phoenix pizzeria, with all proceeds benefitting Chrysalis.
Chrysalis is a crisis shelter for men, women, and children who have been victimized by domestic violence. They offer assistance and the comfort of a safe haven to empower victims to develop self-esteem and independence. Chrysalis staff and volunteers annually help more than 1,300 individuals, and broadly, their goal is to stop terror in the home.
At the end of the night, guests went home having enjoyed their first taste of Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza in the Valley, and crucial funds were raised to support Chrysalis.

Our new team in Phoenix has been hard at work learning the ins and outs of working at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. Judging by these photos, the question is, are they really working hard… or just eating pizza the whole time?
We’re still looking for dedicated, hard-working individuals to join our Phoenix team! If you’re interested, apply online – we’ll be in touch!
Along with going to great lengths to ensure our pizza will taste just as it does in Chicago, we are also bringing our tradition of great hospitality to Phoenix, and that starts with five members of our management team permanently relocating to Arizona.
Our General Manager, Bernie, recently trekked across the country with her family to get settled into their new home in Arizona. She documented the journey with photos of her family driving along historic Route 66. Check out the photos, we think they definitely “got their kicks!”
