On Thursday, February 13th, we were downtown at the Drake Hotel for the NBA Sneaker Ball. During the cocktail hour, Lou’s served up over 200 slices to attendees and NBA associates. It was a great night celebrating with athletes, including Will Perdue, Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks and many others. Special thanks to our team for attending the event!
On Saturday, February 15th, Lou’s was at the Morton Grove Civic Center serving slices at their Cold Brews Fest. Lou’s provided a delicious snack for participants as they tasted some of the local Chicago-area breweries. Thanks to the Park District for having us and to our team for serving some deep dish!
On Wednesday, February 19th Lou’s was on hand passing out slices to over 400 whiskey aficionados. With over 20 distillers and brewers on deck, guests were happy to see they could get a bite of Lou’s in between beer and whiskey tastings!
With our newest location in the Wrigley Building we were honored when Marc and Jeanne were given the opportunity to flip the switch and kick off the holiday season. Before Marc took the stage, there was musical entertainment playing all of the classic holiday songs. Other businesses within the Wrigley Building came out to pass out free swag, and of course Ghirardelli was on hand with hot chocolate. Lou’s served over 300 slices to hungry guests passing by and they were delighted to be enjoying some deep dish straight from the oven on a cold Chicago day. The Chicago Fire Mascot was in attendance hyping the crowd up for Marc’s big moment!
Check out this video from the ceremony and be sure to stop by our newest location at 410 Michigan Avenue!
In Broadview, over 250 slices were sampled out with large crowds gathering around the Lou’s booth.
The organizers from the Schererville Police Department said that Lou’s booth lines were the longest they had ever seen! It was a great opportunity for us to let local residents know that we are now open and that we are proud to be a part of the Schererville community. Highlights of the event included Lou’s debuting their beautiful new pop-up tents and a helicopter landing in the middle of the park.
Lou’s was able to sample out over 500 slices of pizza to the entire Stevenson faculty. Teachers and administrative staff were super grateful to have Lou’s on hand and were looking forward to participate in our fundraiser programmers as well as ordering catering from us throughout the school year.
As a partner in our Summer Reading Programs, Lou’s was happy to make the donation and feed 50 members of the local library. We were told that the pizza was a “huge hit” among all and they look forward to working with us on next year’s summer reading program.
The event is a concert series in Addison Village with thousands of spectators. Lou’s sold over 500 slices of pizza and brought great awareness to the Addison location, which was directly across the street from the concert! A special thanks to Ryan and the Addison team for doing a great job!
