On Monday, March 5th, our Lawndale restaurant sampled deep dish during the St. Patrick’s Day Party fundraiser at Lagunitas Brewery hosted by LIFT.

Founded in 2004, Leading India’s Future Today (LIFT) is dedicated to developing leadership excellence in motivated and talented youth in Tamil Nadu, India.  LIFT provides quality education and a home environment for youth with high potential who would typically be denied schooling due to limited access to resources.

Guests enjoyed pizza and drinks all while bidding on silent auction items.  All proceeds from the event supported LIFT.

On Tuesday, June 27th, our Lawndale location sampled deep dish during The Chicago Brewseum’s fundraising event at Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Throughout the event there was live music, a raffle, and history lessons on pizza and beer.  Overall, it was a chance for people to come out and have a great time while supporting The Chicago Brewseum.

All proceeds from the event benefited The Chicago Brewseum to further their goal in building the country’s first ever beer museum!

On Tuesday, June 27th, our Lawndale store participated in the 2017 Annual Community Partner Meeting hosted by Taller de José.

Held at the Lawndale Christian Health Center’s Skyline Room, this event occurs every year and brings together over 80 individuals working in the Lawndale area’s various community agencies, clinics, and resource centers.  Taller De José is an agency that offers companionship and personal attention to people who have difficulty finding their way in a complex social system.  Rather than duplicate existing services, they seek to collaborate with other agencies to make social services more accessible to a population in need.

While we sampled pizza, guests were able to enjoy the program by finding time for discussion and networking!

On May 9th, our Lawndale pizzeria provided pizza for “Beers for Better Housing” at Lagunitas Brewing Company.

This event was a fundraiser for North Side Housing & Supportive Services, which strives to end homelessness by providing housing and comprehensive supportive services. Their programs serve over 700 men and women experiencing homelessness each year.

At “Beers for Better Housing” proceeds from all beer purchases went directly to North Side Housing & Supportive Services. Nothing goes together better than pizza and beer, right?! Attendees enjoyed slices of our famous deep dish with their beverages.

At the end of the evening, the thirsty attendees helped to raise over $12,000.

We were proud to be a part of this successful fundraising event for North Side Housing & Supportive Services!
