As a whole, the S.O.S. program strives to provide a safe and memorable summer by sending a target of 700 kids to camp; away from violence, drugs, and gang activity. This specific event not only raised enough money to send a goal of 50 children to summer camp this year, it exceeded its efforts by far and continues to raise funds.
Have a fun-filled summer, kids! We’ll see you next year!
On Saturday, February 11th, our River North pizzeria was a food sponsor for the Juvenile Protective Association’s fourth annual “All in for Kids” Casino Night.
This is our second year in a row sponsoring this event for the JPA, an organization that gives at-risk children and families access to services that can help.
The Casino Night was held at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Preston Bradley Hall, and attendees of the sold out black tie event enjoyed fancy fare from restaurants all over Chicago, in addition to our famous deep dish pizza.
On Thursday, September 22nd, our River North pizzeria sponsored “Comedy for Conflict Resolution,” an event put on by the Center for Conflict Resolution Chicago.
Guests enjoyed live entertainment provided by Chicago improv artists and comedians, drinks, and of course, food! For us, it was a night full of laughter, deep dish pizza, and good company.

On Wednesday, July 13th, a few members of our River North team went to Catholic Church Ministries to help set up a pasta dinner for the homeless, organized by the Chicago Help Initiative.
A big part of the mission of the Chicago Help Initiative is to promote an atmosphere of dignity and compassion toward those in need by providing access to food, health services, shelter, and employment.
At Wednesday’s dinner they offered a hot meal, along with services like a literacy program, chair yoga, job boards, and shelter information.
