On Saturday, October 14th, our Lincoln Park team participated in Grassroots Animals Rescue’s Hoppin’ Cats: A Swing Dance Fundraiser.

The mission of Grassroots Animal Rescue is to provide a high-quality foster home, medical care, and nutrition to all of their foster cats as they look for responsible and loving homes.

During the event, a live acoustic swing band entertained while guests were given a swing dance lesson by instructors.  In addition there was a silent auction, food-themed cat toys, and of course … deep dish!

All proceeds directly benefited the medical care of cats and kittens of Grassroots Animal Rescue.

Our West Loop restaurant served deep dish during the Gold Coast Fashion Show on Thursday, October 12^th.

Hosted by the Children’s Service Board, this annual event raises funds on behalf of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago; specifically to assist in the development of groundbreaking programs such as Molecular Oncology and Bioinformatics.

This event welcomes many guests among the fashion elite for its competition of up-and-coming designers who seek the coveted Gold Coast Fashion Award.  Most importantly, it brought thousands of people together who helped raise nearly $1,000,000, in style.

On Wednesday, September 27th, our West Loop location supported and supplied pizza during the Wings of Hope for Melanoma Chicago Gala.

The evening was designated to help fund much needed melanoma research and to honor influential individuals who strive to make a noticeable difference in the melanoma community.

All proceeds from the event benefited the Melanoma Research Foundation.

On Saturday, September 23rd, our Lincoln Square location participated in One Day 100 Bikes.

This event, the Chicago Compu-Challenge, was a one-day festival of fun, fitness, and fundraising that helped the World Bicycle Relief raise $100,000 to provide bicycles to students in rural Africa.

It was great riding tandem with you for this wonderful program!

On Tuesday, June 27th, our Lawndale location sampled deep dish during The Chicago Brewseum’s fundraising event at Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Throughout the event there was live music, a raffle, and history lessons on pizza and beer.  Overall, it was a chance for people to come out and have a great time while supporting The Chicago Brewseum.

All proceeds from the event benefited The Chicago Brewseum to further their goal in building the country’s first ever beer museum!

On Tuesday, June 27th, our Lawndale store participated in the 2017 Annual Community Partner Meeting hosted by Taller de José.

Held at the Lawndale Christian Health Center’s Skyline Room, this event occurs every year and brings together over 80 individuals working in the Lawndale area’s various community agencies, clinics, and resource centers.  Taller De José is an agency that offers companionship and personal attention to people who have difficulty finding their way in a complex social system.  Rather than duplicate existing services, they seek to collaborate with other agencies to make social services more accessible to a population in need.

While we sampled pizza, guests were able to enjoy the program by finding time for discussion and networking!
