On Thursday, September 14th, our Buffalo Grove restaurant sampled pizzas during a Make-A-Wish Foundation benefit performance hosted by The Buffalo Grove Singers.

Buffalo Grove Park District’s BG Singers celebrated their 25th Anniversary Show, A Night of Wishes, by partnering with The Make-A-Wish Foundation.  It was a gratifying experience; the community choral group shared and recognized a historical milestone, all whilst raising funds for Illinois children in need.

All proceeds benefitted Make-A-Wish Illinois.

On Monday, August 7th, our Buffalo Grove location sampled slices at the 26th Annual Children’s Brittle Bone Foundation Golf & Food Classic in Mundelein.

The mission of the Children’s Brittle Bone Foundation is to provide funds for research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and eventual cure for Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), while supporting programs that improve the quality of life for people afflicted with OI, promote awareness, and educate the public.

It was a great day of golf for a great cause!

On Friday, July 14th, our Buffalo Grove location participated in celebrating the 10th anniversary of Hansa Soccer Academy.

Hansa is a developmental youth academy designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 18.  Since being founded in 2006, nearly 3000 kids have joined from all over the Chicagoland area.  This athletic program focuses on the growth of the individual and team based skills by learning different innovative fundamentals and techniques to enhance each player’s soccer IQ.

All kinds of soccer games, even bubble soccer, were played and the kids received individual pizza incentive coupons throughout the day.  And to top it off, there was a post games pizza party!

Our Buffalo Grove pizzeria served up slices of deep dish pizza at the Temple Chai Family Fun Day in Long Grove on August 23rd. What started out as a rainy morning turned into a beautiful, sunny day for family-fun activities. Our Buffalo Grove managers passed out slices of pizza while adults and children enjoyed fun activities like dancing, a dunk tank, jump house, potato sack races, an egg toss, and scavenger hunt, just to name a few.

Everyone loved the pizza and we were glad to see some of the kids try their first slice of deep dish! We weren’t even surprised when they came back for seconds!

On August 18^th, Stevenson High School hosted their annual Preferred Vendor Expo where they showcase all of the vendors that fulfill the catering needs for the school. The expo was a great way for our Buffalo Grove pizzeria to promote special catering items, including our Chicken Club Salad, and (of course) deep dish pizza. Both menu items are perfect for team dinners and school functions. The expo was also a great opportunity for us to feature our fundraising programs, ideal for schools.

Since many of the faculty and staff that attended the expo were locals, our Buffalo Grove managers enjoyed talking with some of their frequent customers!
