Lou Malnati’s empowers our people to donate their time by organizing volunteer events at organizations they feel passionate about. For every hour team members spend volunteering, Lou Malnati’s donates $10 back to that organization.
At the end of the day, our teams assembled meals for children in need and Lou Malnati’s donated more than $100 to Feed My Starving Children!

On Sunday, October 25th, our Bolingbrook pizzeria sponsored the Tri County Barnstormers Cross Country 5K/10K & Super Hero One Miler at Lewis University. Although the event took place before Halloween, runners were encouraged to wear costumes, and there were some great ones out there! We awarded Lou Malnati’s gift cards to both the top finisher and the runner with the best costume.
Lewis University is well-known for their aviation program, so although the focus of the event was the races, they also flew different types of drones. Between the Halloween costumes, races, and drones, it was a fun-filled day!
Getting into the spirit of the Halloween season, our Bolingbrook pizzeria participated in the Bolingbrook Park District’s Halloween Happenings on Friday, October 23rd. The event was co-sponsored by the Bolingbrook Lions Club and was hosted at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex. The family fun event included fun costumes, carnival games and prizes, a magic show, and more!
Although the crowd enjoyed their fair share of Halloween candy, the slices of deep dish pizza we brought to sample were a much needed break from the sweets. Our Bolingbrook managers even got in on the fun by dressing up for the occasion!
