Getting into the spirit of the Halloween season, our Bolingbrook pizzeria participated in the Bolingbrook Park District’s Halloween Happenings on Friday, October 23rd. The event was co-sponsored by the Bolingbrook Lions Club and was hosted at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex. The family fun event included fun costumes, carnival games and prizes, a magic show, and more!

Although the crowd enjoyed their fair share of Halloween candy, the slices of deep dish pizza we brought to sample were a much needed break from the sweets. Our Bolingbrook managers even got in on the fun by dressing up for the occasion!

On Saturday, October 3rd, our Palos Heights pizzeria participated in the 10th annual Palos Heights Pet Parade. Proceeds from the event were donated to local non-profit animal rescues, and parade goers also donated pet food for the local shelters.

With games, pet demonstrations, raffle prizes, and of course the parade, the pets and their owners had a great time! Our Palos Heights managers didn’t bring along any of their own pets, but they did bring some deep dish pizza! We sampled slices to the hungry pet owners, and it was enjoyed by all. A few of the pups and their owners were nice enough to pose for a photo with our team while they stopped by for a slice!

Our Oak Lawn pizzeria sponsored the Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, August 31st. This foundation accomplishes its mission through the Surgery Weekend Program, which transforms the lives of low-income, uninsured, and underinsured children with physical deformities through comprehensive healthcare treatments at no cost to the children and their families. The golf outing was hosted by Jermaine Dye, and included celebrities like fellow former White Sox players Frank Thomas and Scott Podsednik, and former NFL players Marshall Faulk and Andre Reed, among many others. We met the golfers on the 18th hole with slices of deep dish pizza and they were nice enough to pose for a few photos with us! Take a look below.

Our Tinley Park pizzeria sponsored the 2015 Chicago Classic Golf Outing held this past Thursday, July 16th at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont. The outing is an annual signature fundraiser of Choose Chicago, and we were happy to partner with them for the event.

What began as a rainy morning turned into a great day for golf! It could have been the deep dish talking, but a few hungry golfers told us we had the best presentation on the whole course!
