Our Downers Grove carryout competed during District 99 Education Foundation’s fifth annual Pizza Wars fundraiser at Downers Grove South High School on Thursday, March 1st.

We are honored to be awarded best crust!

All proceeds from this event benefited the District 99 Education Foundation.

On Thursday, January 19^th, our Downers Grove store participated in Pizza Wars at Downers Grove High School and walked away with the title of Best Sauce!  At the event, we served slices of our famous deep dish pizza to about 700 hungry Pizza Wars guests.

The event was organized by the District 99 Education Foundation.  The Foundation raises funds to obtain resources to enhance the educational experiences for students and teachers alike by providing academic grants and creating new scholastic programs.  At the end of the night, $15,000 was raised to benefit the Foundation!

Although we are honored with being awarded Best Sauce, next year we’ll be back to claim Best Overall!

On Friday, January 29th, our Downers Grove pizzeria participated in the Hinsdale South High School Foundation’s 2nd Annual Pizza Palooza.

The Foundation provides opportunities for enhanced student learning, and proceeds from the event will support this initiative.

The event was a big success, with over 300 attendees, and a total of eight pizza vendors. At the end of the night, after all of our slices of deep dish pizza were served, and all of the votes were tallied, sadly we didn’t come away with a 1st place victory. But you can bet we will be back next year to win that title!
