National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Millions of neighbors take part in NNO across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.
Residents interacted with police officers and K-9 units, and were able to get a close look at squad cars, motorcycles, ATV’s, and other equipment. Guests also participated in safety and fire demos conducted by law enforcement personnel. In addition, there was a fingerprint station, a kid zone, a DJ, and deep dish!
