Our annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive allows us to give back to the communities we serve and creates a great opportunity for our team to get together before the busy holiday season. We also do this year after year because…kindness rocks!

Thank you to everyone who came to support this effort. Because of all of you, we were able to positively impact 1,650 families this holiday season. Amazing!
With our newest location in the Wrigley Building we were honored when Marc and Jeanne were given the opportunity to flip the switch and kick off the holiday season. Before Marc took the stage, there was musical entertainment playing all of the classic holiday songs. Other businesses within the Wrigley Building came out to pass out free swag, and of course Ghirardelli was on hand with hot chocolate. Lou’s served over 300 slices to hungry guests passing by and they were delighted to be enjoying some deep dish straight from the oven on a cold Chicago day. The Chicago Fire Mascot was in attendance hyping the crowd up for Marc’s big moment!
Check out this video from the ceremony and be sure to stop by our newest location at 410 Michigan Avenue!

Lou’s was happy to play a small part in fueling some of the runners! On October 12th our South Loop, West Loop, and Lawndale stores served the 1,100 members of the World Vision running team a great pasta dinner! On race day, three of our stores cranked about nearly 4,000 slices of pizza!

On October 17th, Lou’s celebrated at the Grayslake Park District Pumpkin Fest! Our team dished out over 300 slices of pizza, while participants played festival games in their best Halloween costume! A few days later on the 19th, Lou Malnati’s joined the Glenview library for Glencon 2019! We served pizza while participants celebrated all things pop culture.

The 3rd annual Chicago Pizza Summit was hosted at the Theater on the Lake, all styles of pizza were represented, including deep dish! Lou’s served out over 1,000 slices of pizza – that’s a lot of sauce!

Lou’s has gotten to fuel some of the best player and teams this season. On October 4, our Lou’s crew served up a big catering dinner for the New Trier staff and their families before the big homecoming football game!

The celebration started with a lunch for first responders and members of the military thanking them for their service and remembering those lost on 9/11. They were so appreciative and loved having Lou’s as a special treat. Later that day they offered free wine tastings and a prize wheel for guests to win some Lou’s swag. The celebration also included tours of fire and air force trucks and a meet and greet with a Police K-9 unit.
Congratulations to our Scottsdale team for a successful event, we wish you a very happy 1st anniversary!
Coaches, volunteers, and the Northbrook Park District were super appreciative of Lou’s contribution and partnership with their local sports and youth programs!

With a brass band on hand, Lou’s sampled out over 200 slices to many Lincoln Square locals who enjoyed having Lou’s there!

Unfortunately, one hour into the event it started to downpour but that didn’t stop us! Lou’s continued to sample pizza inside during that time and was a clear crowd favorite. Some of the other local pizza vendors include: Judy’s Pizza, MOD Pizza, and Sarpino’s among others. All remaining pizzas were then taken over to the local BJBE Temple as we sampled out over 300 slices of pizza. Many people shared their stories of Lou’s and being a customer since the early Lincolnwood days!

With over 100 motorcyclists riding 60+ miles in the pouring rain, they were excited to be welcomed with Lou’s pizza. With over 150 people in attendance, all were super grateful to have Lou’s come out and Lou’s was delighted to help donate to a wonderful cause!
