Construction Underway at Lou Malnati’s St. Charles Location

CHICAGO – (June 22, 2026) – Construction has begun on Lou Malnati’s newest St. Charles location. The legendary Chicago Deep Dish pizzeria signed a lease this spring and is transforming the 6,200 square-foot space in the outlot of the Fox Haven Square development at 3050 E. Main Street. The restaurant is expected to open in fall 2026.

General contractor ARCO/Murray is overseeing the redevelopment. The restaurant will include a main dining room, private dining area, full service bar and outdoor patio. Indoor seating is planned for 218 guests, with additional patio seating.

The new location will offer the full Lou Malnati’s experience: dine-in, carryout, delivery and catering services featuring the restaurant’s legendary Chicago Deep Dish pizza, Thin Crust, appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts.

Bringing people together over our handmade Deep Dish is what drives us, and we look forward to opening our doors later this year.”

The renovation will take approximately five months, with the restaurant projected to open in fall 2026. The location will create an estimated 80-100 jobs.
