About the Deep Dish Dash

This race was created for a few reasons:

1. Community. Lou Malnati’s is proud to be part of the Lakewood community for the past nine years. Through this event we want to celebrate together.
2. Support. Lou Malnati’s Lakewood has three breast cancer survivors on staff. Raising money for a cause that helps others who are going through the same fight is a great way for us to support them, while also giving back to our community.
3. Meagan Sunde. Meagan was a member of our opening team at Lakewood and played a large part in creating the close family culture that our team still enjoys today. On November 19, 2014 we lost Meagan to her long battle with cancer. Meagan faced her sickness head on as she did with all things, and she was an inspiration to many. She was honest, kind and always the life of the party. The Deep Dish Dash is one of many ways that Meagan’s legacy lives on.

Packet Pick-up

Packets will be available for pick-up at Lou Malnati's Lakewood, 8515 Redtail Drive, Lakewood, IL on August 17th & 18th during normal business hours. Race day packet pick-up will also be available, starting at 7:00am.

Race Day Information

Registration and packet pick-up will open at 7:00am. The "Youth Dash" will start at 7:30am, and the 5K will start at 8:00am. The race will start and finish at Lou Malnati's Lakewood, 8515 Redtail Drive, Lakewood, IL.

Awards will be given for first place in the following 10 year age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. Awards will also be given to the top three males and top three females overall.
